Alcatel-Lucent to host live web press conference to announce breakthrough innovations in optical technology

Paris — Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext and NYSE: ALU) will hold a live web press conference on Thursday January 21, 2010 to announce groundbreaking technology in the next-generation intelligent optical core which will significantly cut the cost of transporting dramatically increasing volumes of traffic with exceptional reliability.

The web conference will take place January 21, 2010 at 7AM PST/ 10AM EST / 4PM CET and will be hosted by Alberto Valsecchi, vice president of Marketing and Sergio Fasce, vice president of Cross Connects, both with Alcatel-Lucent’s Optical business.
