Vistamatic, a world leading designer and manufacturer of observation window systems, has been awarded the contract to supply its unique fire rated laminated vision panels for the ambitious expansion of Loma Linda University state of the art Cancer Center in x, California.

Established in 1991, the cancer center is being expanded in phases, the first and second of which were officially opened in in 2008 and the remainder, which consist of a symptom management clinic, a patient resource center and the build-out of the remaining pavilions are scheduled for completion this and next year.

Vistamatic won the contract due to its impressive product and exceptional customer service according to Chad Holgate from Hour Glass & Mirror Inc, the lead contractor for the project.

Renowned for simplicity, durability and refined aesthetics, Vistamatic vision panels consist of three sheets of glass set within an insulated unit, which are operated using Vistamatic’s propriety lever mechanism. When the lever is turned, the inner sheet of glass rise to enable observation and, by turning the handle back, vision is obscured.

Says Vistamatic CEO, Kevin Roth: “Linda Loma University Cancer Center is a renowned world leading cancer care facility and we are delighted to be working on the expansion of their state of the art center.”
