HP and Technology Service Provider Pegasus Solutions to Collaborate on Travel Technology

PALO ALTO, Calif., HP Enterprise Services and Pegasus Solutions, the leading provider of technology and services to hotels and travel distributors, today announced they have entered into a seven-year services agreement that will allow Pegasus to enhance customer service, deliver business innovation and serve new markets while at the same time improving cost-effectiveness.

Under the agreement, HP will manage Pegasus’ industry-leading technology infrastructure, providing data center services including server, storage and network management for Pegasus and its clients, which include hotels and travel distributors around the world. HP also will provide its world-class disaster recovery services for Pegasus’ data center environment.

HP will utilize its Best Shore® global delivery network, which provides unsurpassed skills and expertise using consistent business and technical processes from locations around the world.

Additionally, HP will manage the Pegasus employee workplace computing environment for employees in 17 offices across 11 countries. Services include software management and site support services for employee desktops, notebooks and mobile devices.
