Deloitte cited as an SAP implementation leader in leading independent research organization report

New York — Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) announces recognition as a leader in an independent report by Forrester Research, Inc. on the SAP implementation market in The Forrester Wave™: SAP Implementation Providers, Q3 2009, by Liz Herbert. The 60-criteria evaluation of SAP implementation providers released on 10 August 2009 offers a detailed analysis of leading vendors’ products and services. Forrester’s reports are widely acknowledged for their rigorous reviews, transparent evaluation process, and third-party independence.

According to the report, “Deloitte is a leader in SAP implementation services and particularly excels at the transformational and process consulting elements of implementations. Its Dbriefs executive seminar series and similar initiatives offer a way for firms to learn about industry trends and business drivers beyond just the technology. Deloitte has particular expertise in industries like food and beverage, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, life sciences, retail, government, utilities, and chemicals.”

Among the areas of provider strength and weakness evaluated by Forrester were current offerings, strategy, and market presence. On the latter point, the report noted that “[Another vendor] and Deloitte remain strong choices as well–and both of these firms continue to build out their global delivery capabilities to remain cost-competitive.”
