Avnet Technology Solutions’ Friesenhahn Recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as One of the Top 100 Women in the Channel

Twenty-three year channel veteran honored for role in helping Avnet partners obtain lease financing for their sales

(NYSE: AVT), today announced that Lisa Friesenhahn, vice president of Leasing, Services & Remarketing Sales at Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, has been recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel for 2009. The Top 100 Women in the Channel were chosen by the editors of the magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. The Top 100 Women in the Channel represent a changing trend in a traditionally all-male industry.

The expertise her team provides in these areas is critical in accelerating the success of Avnet and its partners. Friesenhahn’s team’s accomplishments include:

* Launched Avnet Capital Solutions, a private-label leasing program that enables Avnet’s partners to bundle hardware, software, services and financing in one sale.
* Received the IBM Global Services Leadership Award for the second year in a row for driving over 30 percent year-over-year services growth.
* Helped Avnet Technology Solutions become the largest IBM Global Financing distributor in the Americas.
* Helped Avnet Technology Solutions achieve the position of finalist for IBM’s Global Financing Beacon award for outstanding financing program in the Americas.
