Qualcomm Donates US$50,000 to Support Typhoon Recovery Efforts in Taiwan

TAIPEI - Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies, products and services, today announced that the company has committed US$50,000 to support relief and recovery efforts for the flood disaster wrought by Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan. The funds have today been donated to the Taiwan Red Cross.

In addition to Qualcomm’s financial contribution of US$50,000 to the Red Cross, the Company’s employees based in Taipei, Longtan and Hsinchu offices raised US$30,000 for the organization’s emergency response efforts.
