Unlock iPhone 3GS; Voted Favourite Over Non-iPhone Handsets

Downloading software to unlock iPhone 3.0 handsets is preferred to buying unlocked models, according to Japanese and UK surveys

San Diego, California – August 17th 2009: The iPhone is still the favorite despite some consumers needing to unlock iPhone 3GS cell phones, according to international surveys carried out last month. The V3.co.uk and BCN surveys were carried out on 1500 magazine readers in the UK and 2300 cell phone retailers in Japan respectively, with results showing that cell phone consumers would prefer to unlock iPhone 3.0 handsets if necessary, to get this favorite Apple product rather than settle for a different model.

Due to Apple Inc. making iPhones exclusive to one network per country, in certain areas there is no reception available and the handset is unusable. Instead, they must unlock iPhone 3GS models so they can be used with all networks. Most industries would assume this affects sales, but as the surveys show, iPhones are still the premier choice. With easy to download software capable of unlocking iPhone handsets, produced by companies such as California based iPhone Unlocking Solutions, it’s not difficult to use an iPhone in every region.
