In addition, the MP C2550 and MP C5000 were awarded BERTL’s Best awards. BERTL’s Galaxy® Star Rating intends to help consumers identify high-performing document management products. In its 14th year, BERTL’s Best Awards recognize the most innovative and highest-quality products in the printing industry.

Across the board, the products received high marks for print and copy productivity and speed for both color and monochrome jobs. The devices each outperformed competitors via superior finishing capabilities and image quality suitable for presentations, graphics, proposals and office documents. The functionality of the MFPs earned accolades from BERTL’s analysts due to intuitive full-color W-VGA control panels with clear, crisp graphics, easy troubleshooting instructions for misfeeds, and the ability to manage documents from both a walk-up and desktop point of view. The Aficio MP C2550 stood out especially for a wide array of features including internal finishing and scan to USB and SD cards, all within a smaller footprint, while the Aficio MP C5000 earned high marks for professional finishing options such as saddle stitching, booklet making, multiposition stapling and hole punch.

The versatile Aficio MP C3300 offers enhanced productivity with 33 ppm printing in full color and black and white, benchmark image quality via the latest version of Ricoh’s patented PxP™ Toner technology, and print resolutions of up to 1200 x 1200 dots-per-inch (dpi). Ideal for businesses of any size, the Aficio MP C3300 enables customers to complete more jobs inhouse, reducing the need to outsource color projects and lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO). Continuing Ricoh’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the Aficio MP C3300 has superior energy and supply-saving features, which include fast warm-up and first copy out times, duplex and combine copy modes, energy-saving PxP Toner, low noise levels and minimal ozone emissions. The device is restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliant.

Ideal for mid to large-sized workgroups, the Aficio MP C5000 allows customers to expand their digital imaging resources and capabilities with 50 ppm color and monochrome printing, up to 4,400 sheet paper capacity and worry-free security features. Professional-grade documents can be produced in a snap with crisp 600 dpi resolution and multiple finishing options, including saddle-stitched booklets, stapling and holepunching, that help customers to make an excellent first impression. Customers can cut down on postage and shipping costs with features such as Scan-to-Email, which enables users to scan documents and instantly deliver them anywhere in the world, right from the MFP.
