Atkinson NH golf resort honors founder and raises money for the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club


ATKINSON, NH – Atkinson Resort and Country Club is happy to announce that the Peter A. Lewis Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 3rd, 2009 at their facility in Atkinson NH. Golfers participating in the will raise funds for the Lawrence Boys and Girls Clubs of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Last year, 80 golfers participated and raised nearly $9,000 for the charity. The golf tournament’s namesake, Peter A. Lewis, had personally supported the Boys and Girls Club for many years.

Start time for this New Hampshire golf event will be 7:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 6:30 a.m. The cost is $500 per foursome or $800 per foursome with a celebrity guest. This entry fee covers 18 holes of golf with use of a cart, breakfast, lunch and a gift bag to take home. There will also be a “Closest To The Pin” and “Long Drive” contest, as well as a 50/50 drawing.
