Dr. Simpson is the author behind “Pray Like Jesus Taught: A Collection of Effective Everyday Prayers for New Christians,” a book that aims to be a guide to a better Christian prayer life that also challenges the idea that prayer is somehow a ‘skill.’
For Dr. Simpson, prayer is so much more than something that needs to be done ‘correctly’ and with the ‘right words.’ Hence, her book is all about helping new Christians rediscover the basics by looking at prayer at its foundations. It includes the four components that really help prayer time model itself after the Lord’s prayer that Jesus directly taught to his disciples.

Dr. Simpson wrote the book while drawing from her vast experience as an educator, speech-language expert, and blogger.
