John Louis Martin Discusses the Approaching Collapse

In “Another Way: Thoughts on the Coming Collapse,” author John Louis Martin writes about the inevitable downfall of modern society. John Louis Martin has lived in New England most of his life. After independent studies in comparative religion and resource and technology trends in a university without Walls program, John worked in several small factories. In the early 90s, John opened a “Green” store in Providence Rhode Island where he was exposed to the difficulty of producing and offering truly green items.

In the book, Martin explores this further and argues that it is the addiction to growth of the economy along with population growth that will cause the inevitable collapse. And that the governments will be unable to institute policies fast enough to harmonize our economy with the needs of the living planet.
