Richard Asmet Awid’s biography “Walk With Me, My Son: You and I Have Some Stories to Tell” brings to life an interesting family tale that goes way back to the time of the Ottoman Empire. “Walk With Me, My Son” did more than narrate a family’s experience during one of the most memorable historical events. It remarkably touched on and accurately described what life was like back then for the Lebanese community as they crossed over and began a new life on the shores of Canada.

History buffs – avid book fairgoers among them – should check out the book display for Richard Asmet Awid’s “Walk With Me, My Son” at the London Book Fair 2023. The book publishing trade fair will take place on April 18-20, 2023, at Olympia London, Hammersmith Rd, London W14 8UX, United Kingdom. The event is expected to draw more than 25,000 industry professionals from more than 135 countries and more than 1,700 exhibitors from 60 countries.

Guests can look forward to interacting with some of the leading names in the publishing and creative media industry. They would also see the latest product offerings, network, and even build brand awareness.

Richard Asmet Awid’s biography joins other notable published works that will go on the exhibition. This captivating Book tells the story of a nineteen-year-old Ehmid Alley Awid Amerey who, with the threat of conscription looming on the air, fled to Canada in search of safety and a promising future. Thus began a tale that records the history of the Lebanese migration to Canada.
