“Life Is Goodbye Life Is Hello: Grieving Well through All Kinds of Loss” is an Excellent Companion in Your Grieving Process

“Everybody grieves, but no two people grieve in the same way.”

Sandy, Oregon – WEBWIRE

Indeed, grief is not the same for everyone. We even have differing ways of coping with it. Nevertheless, Dr. Alla Renee Bozarth’s “Life Is Goodbye Life Is Hello: Grieving Well Through All Kinds Of Loss”, offers comfort and assurance to all who grieve, regardless of what type of battle each of us faces, helping us to navigate our unique grieving process wisely, strengthened by our common humanity.

In the book, Dr. Bozarth erases the common misconceptions about grieving, and talks about the toxic attitude of modern society towards grief. She talks about the stigma around it, wherein people in grief are told by other people to “cheer up” and “keep busy,” thinking these would help them recover sooner. In reality, it is important to stay true to oneself and to honor the loss without setting unreasonable expectations on ourselves. Dr. Bozarth poses a reminder that grief is a normal healing activity that should not be repressed.

With that, readers are offered useful and healthy ways to grieve. They are encouraged to discover how to express themselves or communicate in new ways, and how to trust the healing power of meaningful silence when it enters us. This book tackles relevant topics such as society’s rejection or denial of the need to grieve. It helps the reader to realize how loss takes a part of us along with what we have lost— a relationship with someone or something that seems to have carried away a part of ourselves. How grief feels, what it does, and what we can do about it are essential aspects of the process. Page by page, Dr. Bozarth guides us away from the pressures imposed on our lives, to follow a certain formula, to “finish” the process when others become uncomfortable with it, adding to the already painful sense of isolation and sometimes confusion that grief imposes. Thoughts and feelings shift and change throughout the grieving process. We are reminded that what is important is to grieve in our own way, which will be determined by our circumstances, our personalities, the nature of our relationships, and all of the variables in our lives. After all, healing is not and will never be a contest.

Enlightening and impactful, “Life Is Goodbye Life Is Hello: Grieving Well Through All Kinds Of Loss” is a book that is more than willing to help a wounded soul heal itself.
