To mark 34 years of the Pièces Jaunes campaign, Carrefour will once again be marshalling its resources and supporting it. The fundraising campaign is scheduled to run this year until 4 February 2023, and will involve a bolstered, omnichannel partnership.

Carrefour has been partnering the Pièces Jaunes campaign since 2003. And it will be supporting it once again this year, helping to finance various projects designed to improve the living conditions of children in hospitals throughout France.  Drawing on its experience of partnering with the initiative over 20 years, Carrefour will once again be supporting it this year with a bolstered, omnichannel partnership – it will use all of the Group’s levers to maximise donations.

Carrefour stores will provide customers with the opportunity to contribute to the fundraising when they pay for their shopping, with numerous ways to make a donation. What’s different this year is that they will be able donate by rounding up their spending at all integrated hypermarkets and supermarkets, which will increase the total amount raised. Customers will also be able to donate online by scanning the QR which will be on display in stores. And they will be able to deposit their small change in the cardboard piggy banks available.

Carrefour Spectacles will be the exclusive partner of the Pièces Jaunes Gala – all of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Pièces Jaunes campaign. At the concert organised by the Fondation des Hôpitaux on 25 January 2023 at the Paris Zénith, Carrefour Spectacles will team up with the campaign and serve as the exclusive ticket distributor. Tickets will be go on sale starting on 13 January, available from 16 Carrefour stores* for €15.

Carrefour is proud to have been partnering the national Pièces Jaunes fundraising campaign for 20 years, and this year it is rolling out a strengthened, omnichannel partnership which will include the opportunity for customers to donate in stores through piggy banks and by rounding up their spending at checkouts, as well as a marketing campaign by Carrefour Spectacles for the first Pièces Jaunes Gala. This comprehensive partnership shows just how committed the Carrefour Group is to supporting the Fondation des Hôpitaux says Carine Kraus, the Carrefour Group’s Executive Director of Engagement.
