Kat Piscatelli Named to MM+M 40 Under 40

WEBWIRE

Medical, Marketing and Media magazine (MM+M) has named Kat Piscatelli, group account director at VMLY&R New York, has to its list of 40 Under 40. The program celebrates accomplished young talent working in and around medical marketing. The list includes individuals from all parts of the industry, ranging from in-house and agency brand talent to young professionals on the forefront of change in health media and analytics.

Kat began her career at Titan (now Intersection) before cutting her teeth in the health and wellness space as Communications and Public Affairs Manager for the American Academy of Nursing.

She joined the WPP family at Wunderman DC in 2012, and has been honing her skills and leaving an indelible mark at WPP agencies including Y&R, and now VMLY&R. She is no stranger to new product launches, having DTC, HCP, and OTC launch experience.

Currently, as a group account director in VMLY&R’s healthcare practice, Kat partners with the agency’s most important pharma and life sciences clients, guiding them and her internal teams through new product launches, ongoing brand management and new business pitches.

She oversees agile, integrated network teams in the strategy, ideation, production and deployment of both branded and unbranded ROI-driven digital and traditional tactics such as TV, print, websites, detail aids, patient-support materials, point-of-sale and personalized marketing campaigns, driving awareness all the way through to acquisition, conversion and retention/brand advocacy.

In her tenure within the WPP network, Kat has earned an amazing reputation as a rockstar and respected advisor to clients and colleagues. In her current role, Kat is responsible for ~$15MM+ in revenue and has proven to be a creative problem solver and inspirational leader. Impressively, Kat is the youngest person to have achieved the Group Account Director title in the VMLY&R health practice.

In legacy agency Y&R’s health practice, Kat was instrumental in establishing a digital discipline practice —spearheading the implementation of processes and protocols, identifying resources and tools, while translating complex technical solutions and managing client and vendor expectations.

Earlier this year, she was named to the 2020 edition of PharmaVOICE100. Last year, she received DTC Perspective’s esteemed ‘Agency Vanguard Award’, which recognizes standout agency team members who are driving innovation and improving patient communications.
