Accenture Named a Leader in IT Services for Communications Service Providers by Leading Research Firm for Ninth Consecutive Year

For the ninth consecutive year, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been recognized as a Leader among information technology (IT) services providers to the communications industry by Gartner, Inc., the world’s leading research and advisory company.
 
In its September 2020 report, “Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide,” Gartner positioned Accenture highest for both ability to execute and completeness of vision among the 12 companies it assessed.

For the report, Gartner defines IT services for communications service providers (CSPs) as multivendor IT services that CSPs buy to enable new or enhance existing offerings to their customers or transform their customer, partner, employee, service or infrastructure management. This includes optimizing existing infrastructure, applications and processes for cost and enabling new capabilities for price performance, growth and/or customer impact. The scope includes “as a service” offerings, emerging business models and network transformation services for cloud infrastructure and operations in a multivendor environment.
