For more than 20 years, Marfrig has supplied consumers in Brazil and the world, through its retail and foodservice chains, with high-quality beef and service excellence. And we will continue to do so.Our operations are indispensable to the food security of Brazilian and millions of people in over 100 countries, for which reason we will keep our units operating during this crisis caused by the pandemic of COVID-19, commonly known as the coronavirus.

We understand that the moment is enormously challenging. But we have made a commitment to Brazil, including our clients, partners and consumers: we will continue to work and to operate our production and distribution units to guarantee the supply of a product essential to the lives of most consumers. We will do so with the utmost responsibility, by always putting first the health and safety of those who work alongside us and by incessantly monitoring conditions at our units. Accordingly, Marfrig will continue to rigorously follow all protocols established by health authorities in the countries where it operates.

The health and safety of our employees and their families, along with our commitment to supply and continue serving our clients, is our absolute priority. The scenario is uncertain for the country and for the world, but we are certain that we are prepared to face this uncertainty.

Today, all Marfrig plants in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and the United States are fully operational. We will work tirelessly to keep them operating and to do our part to prevent shortages of animal-based protein food products for local consumers and for our clients in the countries around the world to which we export.

We also want to supply each home and family that has come to depend on our food products with a bit of hope.We all are facing difficult days of angst and uncertainty. But we have faith in knowing that humankind, as it has over the millennia, will surmount yet another crisis. We join together with all Brazilians and want each of you to know that you can count on Marfrig!
