Electrolux takes guesswork out of blending through smart appliance developed with partners

WEBWIRE

As it continues to expand the smart kitchen ecosystem, Electrolux has launched a connected blender that uses technology derived from collaborations with smart kitchen startup Drop and global culinary institute Le Cordon Bleu to simplify and personalize the consumer experience.

The new Master 9 Multi Blender helps users to get optimal taste results thanks to an app developed together with Drop who Electrolux partnered with in October last year. The Electrolux Master X app enables the user to access multiple dedicated programs and recipes – the app then communicates the right speed and duration for each recipe to the blender. Each recipe and step has been carefully developed with Le Cordon Bleu who joined forces with Electrolux last year to shape the future of cooking habits.

“We want to make the cooking experience simpler and more personalized for the consumer and the new Master 9 Multi Blender is a great example of how we can work with experts to do just that. Combining the culinary know-how of Le Cordon Bleu’s professional chefs with cutting-edge app technology from Drop, our new blender offers the connected consumer precision that you just can’t get with regular blenders. Achieving professional blending results in the home has never been easier”, says Electrolux VP Consumer Product Daniel Wentz.

Launching this month in Thailand and Korea, the blender will roll out to other markets in Asia from next March.
