In Miami and love attending book fairs? Make sure to visit the exhibit of the book at the Miami Book Fair 2019 Street Fair on November 22 - 24, 2019 at Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus) in Downtown Miami.

The Miami Book Fair aims to spread awareness of the literary arts in Miami’s multi-ethnic community; promote reading and writing; and serve the community through the promotion of craft and the power of the written word. Aside from the weekend Street Fair, the book fair, which will run from November 17 through 24, hosts author talks, panel discussions, book signings, musical performances, and many other activities.

Easton’s book “Cobwebs, Echoes, and Footprints” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the Miami Book Fair Street Fair.

In the book are short pieces and memoirs, which according to the author “are placed pretty much in the order that I (Easton) wrote and lived them. That makes them dated and possibly redundant but I like to call them stories; at the very least they are vignettes wrapped around character sketches. Some are ‘slices of life.’”

Why the title “Cobwebs, Echoes, and Footprints?” Easton said in the back cover summary of his book:

The word “Cobwebs” refers to memories buried deep in my past. “Echoes” refers to many of the voices I still hear after a lifetime of having a variety of experiences. “Footprints” refers in both sections of the book to my many years of traipsing through mountains, foothills, and seashores with fellow Sierra Club members, friends, family members or by myself.

The entries in the fiction section cover a broad range of subjects and are written from different points of view in more than the “third–person” style. “My prose reveals many of the human foibles with which I have grappled during my adult life,” said Easton.

As for the memoirs, they are random rambling rantings of an’ “aspiring’’ reclusive wealthy literary genius who longs to live a “writer’s life.”
