Resolution Games Calls All Super-Sleuths and Wannabe Detectives as First Details Emerge About Upcoming Magic Leap AR Game

A crime has been committed, and Resolution Games - creator of Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs, Bait! and Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! - is calling all Magic Leap One players to get ready to lean on their sleuthing skills as details of the studio’s upcoming game emerge. The new game, created as part of the Magic Leap Independent Creator Program, is a whodunit detective game filled with mystery, psychic powers, magic and - of course - intrigue.

“Our upcoming game taps the imagination like no other AR game we’ve made or even seen before, immersing players in a fantastical world of make believe,” stated Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games. “This will be our third true AR title, and we are excited to be continuing our path of exploring how games can fully leverage the full spectrum of the Magic Leap One and the possibilities within Spatial Computing. We can’t wait to share more details and release it to the community.”

In the game, called ‘Glimt: The Vanishing at the Grand Starlight Hotel’, players will step into the shoes of a psychic detective in an environment filled with colorful characters and extraordinary occurrences. New puzzle elements encourage players to think outside the box to solve a crime by using his or her psychic tools and abilities to fill in the gaps during the course of the investigation.
