This is a book that everyone going through the pain of losing someone can relate to.

Dealing with multiple losses is a complicated, multifaceted process of pain and moving on. When you add the responsibilities of being a parent to the scenario—it will take a great toll on one’s emotional and mental wellbeing. Some people will even give up their hope that life can get better after a series of mishaps. But Colleen Curzon Openshaw is a survivor as shown in her inspirational book, “God Shall Wipe Away All Tears: A Mother’s Journal of Caregiving, Tragedy and Hope.”

Within the chapters of her inspirational memoir, Colleen Openshaw shares her experiences of losing her loved ones to untimely death. From pneumonia to immunodeficiency diseases to cancer, she details the heart-wrenching sorrow of a parent witnessing her husband and sons’ demise from these ailments. But amidst the sadness, her hope for better times and faith in God also shine through the pages.

Kathleen Heaney, a reviewer from US Review of Books, said, “The author’s bravery is evident as she navigates the challenges of raising a large family, finishing college at an older age, and experiencing the wrath of cancer in her family. Her journals and poems provide a glimpse into the loving and positive outlook she has on life.”
