Wells Fargo Continues Focus on Technology Leadership with Industry Veteran Hire

Tracy Kerrins named CIO of Enterprise Functions Technology

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) announced that Tracy Kerrins has been named chief information officer of Enterprise Functions Technology. Kerrins joins the company Oct. 21 reporting to Saul Van Beurden, head of Technology. She is based in Charlotte, N.C.

Under Van Beurden’s leadership, the Technology organization is focused on reengineering its platform to deliver technology that is secure and stable with fast, innovative features. In her new role, Kerrins will be responsible for providing technology services and solutions for Wells Fargo enterprise functions, including Human Resources, Corporate Risk, Finance, Technology, Audit, Legal, Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, and Data.

Kerrins has worked in the technology and finance industries for more than 20 years with leadership experience in wholesale credit and banking, anti-money laundering, credit shared services, and commercial loan and lease accounting. Most recently, she was the chief operations and technology officer of Antares Capital, a private debt credit manager with more than $24 billion of capital under management. Previously, Kerrins led Bank of America’s Global Wholesale Credit and Banking Technology division and worked as a consultant at Accenture and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

In 2012, the Charlotte Business Journal named Kerrins to its “40 Under 40” list as one of the region’s top business leaders. She is an advocate of diversity in the workplace and the advancement of women and girls in technology. At Antares, she founded and chaired the company’s diversity and inclusion council, and at Bank of America she served as the global leader for the Women in Technology and Operations organization.
