I liked the history of biblical facts! However, it challenged me as a new Christian in what I believed. Extremely thought provoking! - Amazon Review

The Christianity we know today is a blend of many practices and beliefs. However, some of these were taken from other sources, quickly tailored and altered to become acceptable to the citizens of the Roman Empire; which was constantly in a flux, and to the many civilizations and cultures that would come under the empire’s sway throughout the centuries.

Given that, it’s easy to become confused with what is pagan belief, what eventually became “doctrine” in the Church down throughout the centuries, and what was actually taught by Christ in his own words.

This book seeks to enlighten readers about the actual beliefs as taught by the man behind Christianity itself –Jesus Christ.

It challenges and confronts what has become to be considered mainstream beliefs in modern-day Christianity and lets readers explore what Jesus actually said and meant.

Neither a lecture nor a history lesson, this book is actually for Christians who want to go back to the roots of their religion, as well as for those who don’t attend church and are not sure what to believe in.

“Do You Believe Jesus?” will be displayed in the upcoming Word on the Street, the biggest literary event in Canada this year September 14 in Halifax, on September 21 in Lethbridge, and lastly on September 22 in Toronto.
