Joe Ralston, then an eight-year-old boy, first saw Lorraine Martin when he was in third grade. To him, she was the most beautiful fourth-grader he saw. He fell in love with her from that moment on. He did things a usual young lad would do when in love. After 50 years from the time he first saw her, they met in a high school reunion. This time, he cannot fool himself; he is still madly in love with the girl he met in his elementary years. This time, he can’t allow to let go of her again.
This book is fashioned to tell readers that there’s hope for love and that it can’t be denied by time. When love is still there, as the author put is, it has to be pursued. Joe Brisben manages to create romance despite age. As it is, love bows not to time, it flourishes whenever there’s the presence of it.

About the Author
Joseph Brisben is born and raised in Enid, OK. He earned a B.A. degree at the University of Chicago and an M.A. degree at Drake University in English. He’s been a journalist for City News Bureau of Chicago and the Chicago Tribune. He worked in public relations for the University of Chicago, Drake and Iowa. But he made the “Big Bucks” as a financial wizard for Securities Corporation of Iowa, Wells Fargo, and Broker Dealer Financial Services. He succeeded despite three nosedives in the stock market.
