Mental health awareness has recently grown more serious nowadays. Mental problems may disable the person being diagnosed. But for author Franny Hill, it can only be considered a “disability” if it hinders you from becoming successful in life. He shares his story of survival and success in his book, “Fides Qua Creditur: Can I Live Better.”
 
According to SARDAA (Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America), schizophrenia affects an estimated 3.5 million Americans. Its symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized speech. While 50 percent improve over time, some 25 percent could not.

The author’s experiences almost left him feeling hopeless, useless, and unloved. But through the continuous education and unwavering support of his loved ones, he was able to realize his dreams.

About the Author
Franny Hill was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2010. It was his driving force to graduate with honors in 2014 at the UCC and Rutgers for an associate degree in psychosocial rehabilitation. “Fides Qua Creditur: Can I Live Better” is his first book.
