Author David Random joins China’s biggest book fair in August

Former advertising bigwig and author, David Random, will participate on August 21-25, 2019 at the Beijing International Book Fair, China’s grandest gathering for book creators and enthusiasts. David’s award-winning crime thriller “Connected: A Case of Unique Proximity” (Litfire; 2017) will be featured at the event.
 
The Beijing International Book Fair is the largest annual international book fair in China, organizing more than 100 Chinese e-publishers to participate in the international book fairs in nearly 20 countries and regions.
 
Random’s book “Connected” involves a brutal murder of Harvard psychology professor Olek Janko, which was carried out by Gary Vaughn. Gary’s brother, Maynard, comes forward as an eyewitness, and the killer confesses. What seems to be an open and shut case turns bizarre when it is discovered that the Vaughn brothers are conjoined twins.

About the Author
 
David Random graduated with a fine arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1969. He co-founded DiBona, Bornstein & Random, an advertising agency in 1989. He spent decades creating award-winning advertising for products ranging from hotdogs and cat food to mutual funds, bottled water, and sneakers. His masterpieces have been featured on national TV and in publications such as Time Magazine, Life Magazine, Newsweek, and Playboy since the 1960s. He currently lives in the seacoast area of New Hampshire.
