The story muses upon a young bug that struggles with a medical condition.

Clicking or falling upside down is a controllable process that bugs use to defend themselves from predators.

Writer Ray Sobrino Jr. released a children’s book that teaches care for friends and family. This fable dwells on a young and high-spirited bug named Charlie who was initially unaware that he had a medical condition called epilepsy. Being friendly and free-hearted, many bugs in school seemed to like him.

One day, Charlie was heading his way home from school with his friends Mikey and Joey. Suddenly, he was unconscious and lying on his back. Then he woke up and saw other bugs standing around him. These bugs were trying to help Charlie but they weren’t certain how they could help him. So, Charlie ignored that incident and dismissed that he just simply slipped and landed on his back.

Yet, Charlie seemed to be clicking through always. It had become uncontrollable and that worried Charlie’s family so much. Now, the question lingers on Charlie if he will be able to recover from his condition. Meanwhile, the good thing about this story is that Charlie has his family and friends who support him and care for him. It will be a matter of time how long his recovery will be.

Trail on Charlie’s story as Ray Sobrino Jr. joins the Miami Book Fair International. This cordial affair happens on November 17-24, 2019 at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. Catch you there!
