CCP Publicity Department Honors HBIS Serbia Executive Team with “Model of Our Time” Title

CCP Publicity Department aired the show of “Press Room For Model Of Our Time”in CCTV, telling the stories of HBIS Serbia Executive team, honoring them with the title of “Model of Our Time”. NDRC Deputy Director Ning Jizhe, CCP Public Department Vice Minister Liang Shunyan, Hebei Deputy Government Li Qian went to the show. In the show, the decision of “CCP Publicity Department Honoring HBIS Serbia Executive Team with Title Model of Our Time”was announced and Mr.Liang Shunyan issued the commendation Medal and Certificate the team.

CCP Publicity Department Education Bureau Director Chang Bo, NDRC Regional Development Department Inspector Ding Jie, Hebei CCP Publicity Department Vice Minister, Hebei Civilization Officer Director Dai Changjiang, Hebei CASAC CCP Chairman and Director Lv Zhicheng, Hebei SASAC CCP Vice Chair Cao Haiyan, Hebei Publicity Department Deputy Inspector Jia Jinggang, Hebei NDRC Deputy Inspector Qiao Xiaolin, HBIS CCP & Chairman Yu Yong, HBIS Executive Liu Jian, Qi Yuezhang attended the show. 

Taking its responsibility of “On behalf of nation’s Industries and Play a state role” and support the nation’s Belt & Road Initiative, in April 2016, HBIS took over the Seriban Smerderevo steel mill and incorporated HBIS Serbia and sent its 9-member executive team to operate the new company. Three years since, the team has been keeping Chairman Xi Jinping’s requirements in his inspection on June 19, 2016 in heart. By overcoming the difficulties, understanding the local economy and working hard, within 6 months of take over, HBIS Serbia ended a seven-year loss. In 2018, the company made a record performance of the company history, making HBIS Serbia the bigger employer and biggest exporter of Serbia Republic. Since, the company has been called the Iconic Project in Belt & Road Initiative and International Production Cooperation. The company has won warm comments from top leaders and peoples of the two countries, promoting Chinese images overseas and reputations of a Chinese SOE. On September 7, 2018, Hebei CCP Publicity Department issued the title of “Yan-Zhao Model and New People of Time”to the team. 

With the Song of “Farewell My Friends”in the background, the representatives of the team, Mr.Song Sihai, Mr.Zhao Jun and Wang Lianxi told their stories of leading their over 5000 local employees in a foreign nation. HBIS Serbian Employee Sveta、Vladan、Milan shared their experiences and feelings working with Chinese management team. In a video, Seriban President Aleksandar Vučić praised the HBIS Serbia Project. HBIS Serbian Employees told their changes and Chinese members offered their inspirations. From different perspectives and angles, HBIS Serbia has been a big family and the team honored Chairman Xi Jinping’s requirements and their responsibilities.  

In the show, the decision of “CCP Publicity Department Honoring HBIS Serbia Executive Team with Title Model of Our Time”was announced, in which specified that HBIS Serbia Executive team was a honorable performer of Belt & Road Initiative and International Production Cooperation by joining in international competition and cooperation and merge into globalization development. To fully implement the spirits of Chairman Xi Jinping’s instruction and promote their advanced achievements and noble characters, CCP Publicity Department issued the title of “Model Of Our Time”to HBIS Executive Team and called public to learn from them.
