FIFA President in Kuwait, Qatar for Middle East trip

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is on another trip to the Middle East. He has visited Kuwait during the past two days and is continuing his trip with a visit to Qatar.

The visit to Kuwait included meetings with the President of the Kuwaiti FA, Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Al-Sabah, and the top management of the Federation. Discussions about football in the country in general and the FIFA World Cup 2022™ were on the agenda.

President Infantino also had the opportunity to meet the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Marzouq Al-Ghanim.

The FIFA President travelled to Qatar and will have a number of meetings in Doha over the next two days.
