About the Author

Haimnauth Ramkirath was a teacher for ten years in Guyana, before taking up residency in the United States in 1991. He is a professional accountant and a Financial Management specialist with the CPA and CMA professional designations. He has extensive experience in a variety of industries, and has worked his way up to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer levels. He is an avid practitioner of yoga, and the ancient science of Ayurveda. A strict vegetarian, Haimnauth is committed to Ahimsa (Non -violence), the protection of the environment, and the struggle for economic and social justice. He and his wife, Radhika, come from a background of strong family values, which they have instilled in their children, Akash and Tamala.
