HBIS Huanghua Port Bulk Material Berth Becoming State Level Port

HBIS has received formal authorization from the Hebei Provincial Government that two HBIS Huanghua berths that handling bulk materials are upgraded to state level port terminal and officially providing services after January 31. Before receiving the authorization, the two projects passed thorough inspections conducted by professional agencies and the joint provincial port authority review.

HBIS follows the policies of provincial government of “Pursuing the modern logistics and make Huanghua Port a composite modern port and International Trading Port ”, “Develop International Shipping and Making Huanghua Port an Important International Shipping Port in Northern China” by entering modern logistics and making two HBIS ports its bridge heads in its international efforts.

The two 50,000-ton class berths have annual throughput capabilities of 6.75million tons each and could handle iron ore, cocking coal, bauxite, steel products, steel alloy, equipment and parts and metallurgical machinery. After its completion, Huanghua port has been in operation while maintaining further construction after receiving its port license. As a new port entering the international businesses, the port will become an important grid in upgrading the HBIS logistic structure of the business. It could further lower the logistic costs of the southern enterprises of the group and assist the great efforts of “Road To Railway Transfer”carried out by Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan province and improve the economic development of Mid & South region of Hebei Province.
