Kier Construction Appoints New Operations Director

Leading contractor, Kier Construction Scotland has announced a significant appointment as Phil McDowell has been promoted to operations director and joins the Board of Directors for Kier Construction Scotland & North East.

Phil joined Kier as a contracts manager in 2013 has been responsible for the successful delivery of a number of prestigious projects, including a number of award-winning, state-of-the art schools and heritage facilities.

He is a huge asset, not only to Kier Construction, but to the various clients, consultants and suppliers that he works in partnership with.”

Phil McDowell said, “I’m delighted to join the Board and take up this new role.  It’s an exciting time for Kier Construction as we continue to operate effectively in our chosen markets and have recently secured over £100m of new contracts in our business unit in the last few months alone and I look forward to working with the Board and teams across this country to deliver this pipeline of work.”
