American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Endorses Peer Review Publications Pushing Tech Envelope

ATA Endorses First-in-Class Blockchain in Healthcare Today and Telehealth and Medicine Today Peer Review Journals

STAMFORD – WEBWIRE

The ATA is delighted to collaborate with Partners in Digital Health, as the benefits of blockchain technology are critical to our members’ success in the future,” stated Ann Mond Johnson, CEO, ATA

Partners in Digital Health (PDH) is pleased to announce the endorsement of its peer-review journals, Blockchain in Healthcare Today (BHTY), and Telehealth and Medicine Today (TMT), by the American Telehealth Association (ATA). “Pushing the confines of pragmatic healthcare innovation and academic publication practices, these journals fill gaps with editorial missions poised for the next frontier in health and care around the world,” stated Tory Cenaj, Founder, Partners in Digital Health.

In March 2018, PDH launched BHTY, the first international peer-review journal dedicated to blockchain and converging technologies in healthcare. The audience includes strategic thought leaders, new-era practitioners, and future society stakeholders from academia, industry, non-profit organizations, and government. With over 20,000 downloads, 18 citations to date, and readership in more than 65 countries, BHTY is the product of passionate authors, ecosystem stakeholders, and world-class board members.

“Blockchain is a key driving force behind maintaining accurate, actionable healthcare data – and is an important component of where we’re headed in telehealth. The ATA is delighted to collaborate with Partners in Digital Health, as the benefits of blockchain technology are critical to our members’ success in the future,” stated Ann Mond Johnson, CEO, ATA.

The academic portfolio’s editor-in-chief, John Halmaka, MD, International Healthcare Innovation Professor, Harvard Medical School, added “I travel 400,000 miles a year and experience healthcare challenges on every continent. We are happy to collaborate with the ATA to catalyze local and global initiatives and use cases to move health, delivery, and education forward, with telehealth and blockchain technology.”

The two organizations will support one another’s efforts to catalyze strategic visionaries to champion the pragmatic acceleration of healthcare transformation, exchange knowledge, build consensus, and best in class outcomes for a healthier future society. PDH will conduct a blockchain session at the ATA19 Conference and Expo, April 14-16, in New Orleans. The ATA will assist PDH with content focused on value-based outcomes, collaborate on additional frontier initiatives to be announced, and add thought leaders to its world-renowned board.
