HEINEKEN International departments to move to office building The Base D at Schiphol
The HEINEKEN Global Procurement and HEINEKEN Global Supply Chain departments will be moving to The Base D office building at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at the end of 2019. A long-term lease agreement was concluded with Schiphol Real Estate for the entire building, which features some 6,000 m2 of office space located at Schiphol Boulevard 800 at Schiphol.Around 450 people will be working at The Base D. HEINEKEN International’s other departments will remain at their current locations in Zoeterwoude and the city centre of Amsterdam.
The Base D
The Base D is currently under construction and will be a modern and sustainable office building, equipped with Smart Building technology and bearing BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification. It is the fourth building in The Base complex located at the heart of the Schiphol Central Business District. The building was designed by ZZDP Architects.
