MediaTek Named “IoT Semiconductor Company of the Year” in 2019 IoT Breakthrough Awards Program

MediaTek today announced that it has been selected as the winner of the “IoT Semiconductor of the Year” award from IoT Breakthrough, an independent organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market today. For nearly two decades, MediaTek’s market-leading IoT chipsets have powered connected products such as mobile devices, smart home products, wearables, location services and more. MediaTek has also played a pivotal role in ushering in the next generation of connectivity with its 5G and NB-IoT collaborations and products.
