Anagog Cures Data Privacy Concerns with World’s First On-Handset AI Engine

With Absolutely No Reliance on the Cloud, JedAI 4.0 Marries Personalized,
Location-based Consumer Offerings with Complete Privacy

Tel Aviv – WEBWIRE

In the digital realm, consumers consistently sacrifice privacy for utility. Anagog is changing that. Today, the pioneer of on-device artificial intelligence (Edge-AI) solutions is introducing JedAI 4.0, its on-handset AI engine that gives companies a new way to offer personalized and contextual services without knowing a consumer’s personally identifiable information (PII). JedAI, offers the first-ever ability to simultaneously retain all PII data on the user’s phone, while providing unprecedented personalized and contextual utility.

Today, virtually all social media, apps and advertising platforms automatically amass data from their users and upload it to the cloud or backend servers for processing and analysis. In contrast, JedAI 4.0’s machine-learning algorithms use first-party data generated by the users’ mobile device sensors to better understand their real-life activities, creating a user profile on the mobile handset itself. The profile is based on the user’s geo-behaviors, movements, timing location and mobility status. JedAI can then provide predictions of what the user will do next, allowing companies to provide more personalized customer-contextual offerings based on behaviors and locations rather than personal information.

With JedAI’s default privacy option none of the user’s personal information is ever transferred out of the phone, keeping the user fully in control, but still able to pull in valuable offers without foregoing their PII. The user has the flexibility of multiple data collection options that include no PII sharing or sharing some PII per the user’s explicit consent in exchange for clear value.

That’s important, because consumers prefer to keep their data private and on their phones. According to a recent Survey Monkey Consumer Data Privacy study initiated by Anagog, 70 percent of consumers queried on their data privacy preferences said if given the option they would keep their data private on their mobile phones. The survey also showed most consumers (83 percent) are concerned the mobile apps they downloaded automatically collect their personal data.

“JedAI 4.0 uniquely puts AI to work for consumers,” said Gil Levy, CTO and Co-Founder of Anagog. “This first-of-its-kind Edge-AI solution enables companies to provide accurate, contextually aware and geo-targeted services and offers directly to consumers’ mobile devices, while ensuring users remain in control over their privacy. Our recent survey shows consumers are increasingly cynical about the way their data is being used by large corporations and social media platforms, so the time is right to show them that the technology can serve them rather than overlooking their interests. With JedAI 4.0 we have turned all the old concepts upside down, addressing privacy concerns right from the roots.”

JedAI consumes ultra-low battery power, is compatible with the latest Android and iOS operating systems and is currently integrated into more than 100 apps around the globe. Multiple new apps are now integrating JedAI in sectors including automotive, banking, insurance and retail organizations.

Backed by tier-one investors that include some of the world’s top automotive OEMs (Daimler, Porsche and SKODA Auto), Anagog has developed multiple innovations and has already filed more than 20 patents with 10 more currently in the process of filing.
