The government is simply not structured nor comfortable in solving these human problems, but the church is, that is, if we have the courage and boldness to take them on, emphasizing transformation," said Jamison.

“The World That Hates Us: Our Promised Inheritance,” an enlightening take on societal issues the United State is facing at present. Today, the US tops in terms of prison population, rate of divorce, and teen pregnancies among many other problems. The rise of the numbers commenced in the 1960’s when secularists boldly took over the American Society, paving the way to the secular era. The church had participated less and less; it stood on the sidelines, keeping a blind eye.

In this book, the author emphasized the importance of the church’s strong participation in society. The church can solve societal problems that the government fails to address, and can reach the people in a way that the government cannot. If the church and government will join forces to grapple with these issues, there will be a far better outcome.

In this intriguing composition, the author’s knowledge of the Scripture was put in writing as a solution to the challenges the society is confronting. It is an enticing read that will surely pique the reader’s interest.
