With a background in writing children’s stories, Mae Kidman Aldous translates her skills to crafting unpredictable and gripping stories. She did just that when she published her first novel, a murder mystery thriller titled “Over the Edge” (LifeRich Publishing; 2013).

As the injured Cari struggled back up the mountain, she heard Michael’s voice, which not only encouraged her but also urged her to seek justice for him and warned her to be careful of the people near her. Determined to seek justice and to find out who caused their predicament, Cari convinced a skeptical Detective Connor O’Kelley to help her.

About the author
 
Mae Kidman Aldous, author of several published children’s stories, wrote her very first novel.  She was born and raised in the mountains of northern Utah.  She and her husband moved for a time to central Virginia and then to North Carolina, where she currently resides in Concord.  They have four children, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
