EDN Teams Up With FOCUS — The Meeting Place for International Production

EDN - European Documentary Network has inked a partnership deal with FOCUS —The Meeting Place for International Production. FOCUS, now in its fourth edition, is an annual event for film professionals taking place at the Business Design Centre London from December 4-5, 2018. Registration and participation in the conference is free of charge.

FOCUS is aimed at all creative screen industries – including film, TV, advertising, animation and interactive – and is the only UK trade event where attendees can meet with content makers, film commissions, production services and locations providers from over 60 countries. Each December, the industry’s key players converge at FOCUS, transforming two days of meetings, networking events and seminars into deals and lasting business relationships.

Participants of FOCUS will have the opportunity to:

1. Discover millions of dollars worth of filming incentives
2. Meet with film commissions, locations providers, production services from over 60 countries
3. Attend a packed content programme featuring over 100 experts
4. Pre-arrange meetings using the one-to-to one meeting scheduler
5. Network with peers at receptions and happy hours .

At FOCUS 2018 over 100 expert speakers will address the key opportunities and challenges concerning the production industry today. The programme is developed in consultation with leading industry organisations, including the British Film Institute, British Film Commission, Pact, Directors UK, Advertising Producers Association, The Production Guild, Creative Skillset, UK Screen Alliance, Creative Europe Media Desk UK and Women in Film and TV to ensure that it addresses current needs and concerns.
