Prayer, Meditation, and Worship Energizes Spiritual Connection

Professor Tapan K. Chaudhuri, in his latest book, “Electromagnetic Energy of the Human Mind,” dares to theorize that a sufficient and instinctive understanding of electromagnetic energy can bridge the gap between the human mind and the divine. His work focuses on the daily elements of time and the deliberate choices humans make because of their current state of consciousness. He proposes that by establishing and strengthening spiritual connections with God, through daily prayer, meditation, and worship, humans can shut off their self-serving tendencies and instead, focus on understanding the guidance of the divine from within. 
 
Prof. Chaudhuri, who has had his own near-death experience and spent three weeks in a comatose state, wants to inspire his readers to marry science with faith. To break old barriers and forge a new path of understanding the underlying connection between opposite worlds. The book is an attempt to lay the groundwork for achieving a stronger form of faith by concretizing it with science.  
 
“Electromagnetic Energy of the Human Mind” explores the deeper meaning of having faith in the unknowable. He anchors his basic premise on the thought that though we are limited to what we see, we become boundless when we break the mold of our own pre-existing biases. He tells us that when we start believing in what we cannot see, like electricity or gas or even air, we transcend to limitless.  
 
About the Author
A nuclear medicine physician and spiritual disciple, Tapan K. Chaudhuri is an authority in his field. His extensive experience includes training in nuclear medicine from Yale University and University of Iowa, internship and residency training from Pittsburgh Southside Hospital and West Virginia University Medical Center respectively. He has authored and co-authored about 200 publications in various national and international medical and scientific journals including several book chapters. For 41 years, he has taught nuclear medicine in the Eastern Virginia Medical School. Aside from his work in materialistic science, Chaudhuri also studied and learned spiritual science under spiritual Gurus – Sri Taposh K. Chowdhury and Srimati Bulu R. Chowdhury.
