Her health and nutrition guide reveals the three categories of foods and their effects on the body.

Oklahoma City, OK, USA – WEBWIRE

This eye-opening health and nutrition guide should help readers make informed choices about their food.

The late Sharon Jean Wiginton successfully battled cancer years before she passed away in 2017. She became healthy and disease-free just by changing her diet, switching to raw, natural foods. To help others battle cancer and, above all, make informed choices about their food, Wiginton published “Abounding Health Naturally.”

The late cancer survivor tackled the topic of food at length in this faith-filled and informative guide, which latest edition is now published by ReadersMagnet. She explained and differentiated the three categories of food: (1) raw, living foods, (2) neutral foods, and (3) toxic, junk foods.

Raw, living foods are foods that belong to the plant kingdom, which, in other words, are foods grown by nature. These foods give the body life and could even stop and reverse diseases, including cancer. Raw fruits and vegetables, nuts, and seeds are included in this category.

Wiginton believes raw, living foods are foods created by God for humankind to eat in order to live their lives in health. “To have living bodies, you must eat live foods,” said the late author.

Neutral foods are foods that neither give life back to the body nor steal too much from it. “These foods would be foods that do not add a toxic load to the body,” explained the author, “but also do not give the body any real nutrition. They do in some ways ‘steal’ a bit from the body because the body must use some of its reserves to process and to be able to use them for fuel.”

Examples of neutral foods include baked potatoes, whole-grain breads, whole-grain pastas, brown rice, and steamed vegetables.

Toxic junk foods are foods that are devoid of enzymes and nutrients. They contain harmful substances that the body must neutralize. Junk foods are disease-producing. They do not promote life and health but instead, rob the body. How?

“These foods force the bodies to not only take from its reserves of enzymes but also to pull vital minerals from different parts of the body to neutralize the toxic effects they have on the body,” explained the late author.

In short, junk foods cost the body energy and nutrients. “By having to borrow from its own reserves and its own tissue, the body then creates deficiencies.”

It is obvious to the readers that Wiginton advocated a diet full of rich natural foods. However, she also tells readers that “There are many things grown by nature, but that does not mean God made them to be food for us.”

Sharon Jean Wiginton’s “Abounding Health Naturally” is a must-have for readers who want to know more about the foods they eat and practice a healthier lifestyle.
