Erik currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. He previously served as a Managing Director for Healthcare Technology Consulting in North America, as well as Accenture’s Healthcare Blockchain lead and as a co-lead in Accenture’s Value Based Care practice in North America. Erik has served in major leadership roles in healthcare including Deloitte, Vangent, and other industry firms, and has played a key role in federal, state, and commercial healthcare programs and initiatives as a leader in the healthcare community. He received a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CHPIMS) in 2009 and became a HIMSS Fellow in 2012.
