Erik currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. Erik has served in major leadership roles in healthcare including Deloitte, Vangent, and other industry firms, and has played a key role in federal, state, and commercial healthcare programs and initiatives as a leader in the healthcare community. He received a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CHPIMS) in 2009 and became a HIMSS Fellow in 2012.
