Texas author Brenda Mize Garza pens Christian supernatural fiction novel

Brenda Mize Garza published “The Beach House” (LifeRich Publishing, 2018), the first in the series of Christian fiction books about a gang of kids who wander away to explore a beach house and stumble into a battle between the forces of good and evil.
 
Set in Shell Cove on Starfish Island, “The Beach House” is told in the first person by Andrew. He, Allen, Lee, Paige (the only girl in the gang) and Michael (the bravest one) are long intrigued by an abandoned beach house that is extremely close to the water’s edge. They find it strange that the tide never comes near the house.
 
In a manner that depicts Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in Mark Twain’s classics, the “little merry band” of youngsters decide to explore the house. Little do they know that the abandoned beach house is a gateway to “a strange world of unfamiliar voices, disappearing people, and wily demons.” Adventure awaits the five friends in a world where the kingdoms of good and evil cross path.
 
Published to good reviews on Amazon, “The Beach House” is the latest book to elevate supernatural fiction and Christian fiction. Supernatural fiction is underrepresented in Christian bookstores despite the biblical worldview being a “supernatural” worldview and the Bible replete with supernatural elements. Christian fiction, on the other hand, sees a decline in sales. Garza’s faith-filled supernatural novel should change all that.
 
Brenda Mize Garza’s “The Beach House” will soon be displayed in the upcoming 2018 Frankfurt International Book Fair on Oct. 10 to 14, 2018 at Frankfurt, Germany.
