An Anthology at the Book Fest of the City of Angels

Once again, the 2018 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books has brought together book lovers to celebrate a feast for the minds and the hearts on April 21 to 22, at University of Southern California. One of the books exhibited at the LitFire Publishing’s booth was the beautifully made anthology by Alfred Porter, “The Collected Works of Alfred B. Porter Volume I.”

The book anthology comprises twenty short stories written by Alfred B. Porter. Craftily sequenced, the stories are arranged beginning with entertaining children’s tales—which are supplemented with interactive and learning activities—to informative stories for adults. These stories were brought together to create a stimulating book anthology that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages.

Each story contains lessons and messages that readers could relate. “This book is well written and thought out with all of the characters well put together and connected in order to bring his message to his readers out there,” said Michael M, an Amazon customer that reviewed “The Lady Liberty Mystery,” which is part of the anthology. Professor Porter’s compilation is something you can enjoy reading one story at a time.

About the Author

Alfred B. Porter is an author, professor, public speaker, seminar leader, and personal growth coach. As a professor, he taught in several universities in Los Angeles like UCLA, Pepperdine University, and several other colleges in the Los Angeles City College District. As a public speaker and personal growth coach, he conducted seminars and learning workshops throughout Southern California. As a successful author, he published more than a dozen books.
