Reflections on Life Shared in Poetry Collection

Poems are more than just a series of lines. They have served as a vehicle for learning and expression for many years. Author and actor Byron Clark uses poetry to share parts of his life story in his book, “Poems of Life / Faces of Poems.”

Clark’s book contains personal poems, which are divided into eight chapters or, as the he calls them, sagas. Some of its sections are dedicated to people who have made a mark on his life. Readers will not have a hard time comprehending his pieces, which are written without superfluous words. Photographs are also present in most of the book’s pages to supplement Clark’s pieces.

“Poems of Life” was displayed at LitFire Publishing’s booth at BookExpo America 2018. The two-day event is regarded as the biggest gathering of book trade professionals in North America. It is also where authors, readers, and industry professionals come together to oversee the publishing industry’s progress. It ran from May 30 to June 1, at the Javits Center in New York City.

About the Author

Byron Clark is a graduate of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5200, USA. The actor and author has appeared in various Off-Broadway productions, movies, and television commercials. He has also lent his Talents to Voice-Over work. Clark has also worked as an editor. He cites Allan Watts and E.E. Cummings as his literary influences.
