FrieslandCampina Ingredients first associate member Medical Nutrition International Industry

The Medical Nutrition International Industry (MNI) association sees FrieslandCampina Ingredients as a key player in the value chain of medical nutrition products, and therefore, selected it as the first company to become an associate member. The MNI has the goal to provide better care through better nutrition, across all ages and healthcare settings. One of its strategies is to partner with relevant organisations who contribute to good nutritional care.

Herman Ermens, Managing Director at FrieslandCampina Ingredients Medical Nutrition, adds: “FrieslandCampina has been active in Medical Nutrition for nearly 40 years and since 2017 we have a dedicated unit focusing on medical nutrition. Becoming an associate member on the one hand can help us in our ongoing journey to increase our understanding of patients’ medical nutrition needs and on the other hand it allows us to help others by sharing our decades of knowledge. In that way we hope to better serve the interests of patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare providers.”
