Frank and his wife Cleo have owned and operated Franks Wholesale meats for over 44 years. 30 years ago, they purchased the property on Waterman Ave. The property houses their full-time wholesale department, meat counter open to the public as well as a restaurant where patrons can get submarine sandwiches and a variety of hotlinks prepared daily by Frank and his staff.

Frank and his wife started the company over 44 years ago. They started small at a different site. With Frank’s hard work and perseverance, they were able to grow into a large company. Frank’s Wholesale Meats always stood behind the quality of their meat and supplied many of the restaurants in San Bernardino. Every morning, Frank and his wife Cleo arrive at the property and open the business. They receive shipments of high-quality meat from their national suppliers and process the meat for sale to the public and wholesale clients. Because of their hospitality and expertise with different types of meat, customers come from all over the county and internationally to purchase meat from his counter. This is evident by the dozens of letters and international currencies that are displayed under the counter.

Franks Wholesale Meats has always been a fixture of San Bernardino. They are supporters of the local police and fire department as well as actively involved in the city government. Franks Wholesale Meats is well known in the city. They have held many car shows and fundraisers at their business location to raise money for local charities and causes important in San Bernardino. When you visit their store, you will see the walls filled with memories and mementos gather from over 30 years of events. He has collected many items depicting the changes in the local area over the last 44 years. 

The building that houses Frank’s Wholesale Meats is unique. The property is located on a lot of over 18,000sqft. The building is 11,240sqft.
