“Camp Erin let me know that it’s OK to not be OK. That crying is OK and talking about my loved one isn’t bad. Camp Erin helped me realize that I can still have fun and be happy.” –
12-year-old girl

“At Camp Erin San Diego, children and teens honor and memorialize their loved one, meet friends who are facing similar circumstances, build coping skills, and have fun,” said Jan Jones, president and CEO of The Elizabeth Hospice.

The Elizabeth Hospice offers the most comprehensive children’s bereavement program in San Diego and Riverside Counties. In addition to Camp Erin San Diego, the program includes: peer grief support groups for children 3 to 17 years old, on-site grief support groups in 16 school districts, as well as grief education, training and resources for school professionals.
