Kate Logan Named General Counsel, International for Warner Music Group

Kate Logan has been promoted to General Counsel, International, for Warner Music Group (WMG), based at the company’s London offices and reporting to Paul Robinson, WMG Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In her new role, she is responsible for all of WMG’s legal and business affairs activities outside the U.S., working closely with the company’s recorded music and publishing affiliates throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Logan was most recently SVP of Legal Affairs for WMG, a post she has held since 2013. The move follows the departure of Chris Ancliff, who was General Counsel, International from 2009.

Prior to joining WMG in 2013, Kate Logan spent seven years at EMI Music, where she held various roles including SVP Legal Affairs. She was previously an associate at Allen & Overy, having begun her career  at CMS Cameron McKenna.Logan is a graduate of University of Nottingham and Nottingham Law School, and also holds an MA degree in Copyright Law from Kings College, London.
