Cargill in Indonesia Receives the Best Companies to Work for In AsiaTM 2018 (Indonesia Edition) Award from HR Asia

Cargill in Indonesia has been recognized by HR Asia as a Best Company to Work for in AsiaTM 2018 (Indonesia Edition).  The award is given to companies in Indonesia with high levels of employee engagement and excellent workplace cultures. Minister of Manpower The Republic of Indonesia, Hanif Dhakiri presented the award to Chika Hutauruk, Senior Human resources director, Cargill in Indonesia,  yesterday evening Friday, 4th of May 2018, during Award Ceremony at JW Marriot Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. Also attending the ceremony William Ng, A group publisher and editor-in-chief of HR Asia, one of the leading HR publications in Asia, as organizer of this event.

Award-winning companies were selected through an assessment process, which included both an Employee Input Survey (EIS) and Workplace and Employee Engagement Survey (WEES) involving 210 companies with diverse industrial backgrounds in Indonesia. Assessment is determined on the basis of several factors including employee engagement, workplace culture, development opportunities, company’s employee turnover rates, employee growth rate and workplace accident rate. The survey results are processed by a team of judges who are independent panel of industry experts, academics, journalists and government representatives.

Based on the EIS and WEES survey result, Cargill outperformed the industry average in three separate categories, named Heart, Mind and Soul™ , which examine employee’s “emotional engagement to the Company (heart),” “intent and motivation (Mind)” and “behavior and advocacy (Soul).”
